Last night, we had Indian food delivered, with great Sag Paneer. Since a little baby took the space where my stomach used to be, I was only able to eat three bites. What a waste… I was ready to toss it in the trash, when Alvin suggested I’d eat it for lunch the next day.
I’m sorry? Reheating spinach, and poisoning myself and our unborn baby with nitrates? No, thank you. He looked at me like I was crazy, grabbed his phone, and this is what he found…

Have you heard of the bearded Mast Brothers? This is them.
You getting excited yet?
About five years ago, according to their site, Rick and Michael Mast started making chocolate from scratch in their Brooklyn apartment, to serve at their big dinner parties. Their friends gushed so over their treats, that they decided to turn the hobby into a day job. Today, they sell to 120 stores and restaurants, mostly in the New York area, and they have a waiting list of more than 1,500 worldwide! Even President Obama is a fan.
Serrano Peppers is the flavor I decided to spend a small fortune on. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I love dark chocolate, which was all I tasted when I first took a bite. Then the aftertaste kicks in. Hot!! I justified my spending with the thought that this was something you eat very slowly. Not. I’m afraid you’ll hear about the other flavors, soon…
Also, check out the beautiful packaging! (if I recycle the wrap as craft paper, it’s actually not too bad of an investment)
